Melanie Brenton - Store Manager
Melanie has been with Office Furniture Depot since 2000. She started her journey with the company as the receptionist and successfully worked her way up the line to sales. She is a true "promote from within success story". Melanie has a gift for managing and supervising the sales and delivery staff. She loves dealing with different people on a daily basis. Helping customers find the perfect furniture piece to fit into their space has been very rewarding. Melanie is an active participant in the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce events. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family and is a devoted Dallas Cowboy's fan.
Ashley Jones - Sales
Ashley is a graduate of Lake Gibson High School and has lived in Polk County for more than 10 years. She began her career with Office Furniture Depot as a receptionist and moved into Sales in less than a year. Ashley has been part of the team since 2005. During her tenure, she has acquired extensive knowledge of office furniture and always enjoys helping our patrons find the perfect piece! During her time away from OFD, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter.
Glenn Tucker - Sales
Glenn has been with Office Furniture Depot since 2001. He began as a furniture delivery driver and after three years moved into sales. His specialty is in locating the correct piece or pieces from our extensive inventory of scratch-n-dent and pre-owned office furniture to help our budget conscious customers. Glenn is a native of Polk County and has lived in Lakeland his entire life. He enjoys sports and in his spare time, coches and referees Little League and High School basketball and football.
David K. Boles, President
David brings a wealth of experience to Office Furniture Depot beginning with the company in 1997. He specializes in large projects from the private sector, government, schools, and large corporations. David has an in-depth understanding of what types of office furniture will meet the needs and exceed his clients expectations. It is with great pride that he lends a high sense of integrity to each and every project completed.
A graduate of Florida Technological University, David holds a B.S. degree in Sociology. He received his MBA in Business from the University of Central Florida. Prior to working with office furniture, David owned and managed two sesrvice-oriented companies. David has an office furniture background of more than 15 years. His background enables him to guide customers into the best quality product for the best possible price.
A resident of Florida sincce 1976 and a Lakeland resident for more than 20 years, David is very active in the Lakeland community. His involvement includes being a member of The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Kiwanis Club. He has served on the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Polk Theatre, and Friends of the Library boards and is currently serving on the VISTE board.
Golfing has been an enjoyable past time over the years and a passion he shares with his daughter.
Joanne Boles, CEO
Joanne founded Office Furniture Depot in 1997. As CEO of the company, Joanne is involved with the daily operation of all aspects of the business, including the purchase of new and special order furniture. A degree in Business Management, from Florida State University, has helped meet the daily challenges of running a business.
The focus of the product mix involves new office furniture and includes the largest selection of quality, pre-owned office furniture in Polk County. Office Furniture Depot participates in the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours and sponsors a monthly event each year. Joanne is a member of the Lakeland Chapter of NAWBO, National Association of Women Business Owners. It has provided many opportunities to encounter other business owners in both a business and social setting. Joanne enjoys spending time with her husband and both of her children.
